Jackass make theatre which is relevant and enjoyable for participants and audiences, incorporating art-forms such as dance, film & music into its work. It offers high quality experiences via theatre skills workshops (eg. stage-fighting, script-writing,) run by professional practitioners. It tells stories about our lives, and about people and events (real, mythical, imagined) from other parts of the world. It has an open-door policy and ensures that everyone who wants to be involved is included. In the summer it takes its theatre onto the streets where more people can see it. It aims to raise the aspirations of young people and to develop their ability to communicate their ideas, making them more confident and self-assured as they grow into adults.
